We’d like to update you on the progress we have made to reduce the number of overdue routine repairs. In our update in November 2023, we had around 500 routine repairs that were past their target date. We were completing 55% of our routine repairs within their target time.
In January 2024, we agreed a partnership with contractor Ian Williams. Some of the Ian Williams team joined us to help complete more of our routine repairs within their target date. Their focus was on those tenants who had been waiting the longest.
We have made good progress in the first two months of 2024. We now have less than 150 routine repairs outstanding. Thank you to the team at Ian Williams for completing over 80 of these jobs.
In February, we completed 69% of routine repairs within their target time. We are working hard to bring this completion rate to above 80%. Our M Team will continue to work with Ian Williams, and our other contractors to try and achieve this.
