CCHA have three community centres based in the heart of Tremorfa, Trowbridge, and Butetown. Each have their own program of regular activities and are available for hire.
If you want to find out more about what’s going on in your local centre, you’re interested in hiring our facilities for an event or want to hire a room on a long term basis, please get in touch and we will discuss the available options with you. They also make a great setting to meet with us if you have an appointment with a member of CCHA staff.
Trowbridge Community Centre (CF3 1RU), based in the heart of Trowbridge, offers a variety of groups and classes for you to get involved in. Most of the regular activities are run by members of the local community and range from dance lessons to messy play for young tots, as well as regular educational classes hosted by Cardiff and Vale College. It has a main hall available for hire, as well as access to kitchen facilities if needed.
Tremorfa Community Hall (CF24 2QZ) hosts regular activities and a variety of community groups. These include parent and toddler groups, puppy training, and Brownies. It’s also the home of Tremorfa Community Pantry, which provides food and toiletries for members of the local community. As well as a main hall available for hire, it also has access to kitchen facilities.
Loudoun Culture and Media Centre (CMC) (CF10 5HW) is in the heart of Butetown and is a fully accessible, contemporary space available for hire and designed to host meetings, conferences, and events. It comprises of two function rooms, and a commercial kitchen.. The outdoor roof terrace boasts spectacular views over Cardiff Bay, all located within walking distance of Cardiff Bay train station and a regular bus route. Loudoun CMC has previously hosted ESOL classes, Arabic classes, and a crèche. It is now home to Tiger Bay ABC as of May 2022!
