What is the community benefit fund?

Our community benefit fund is available to groups that operate within CCHA’s communities. The fund offers grants up to £500, which can be used towards:

  • Day trips
  • Community events
  • Shared community equipment
  • Sports equipment

Community groups can apply for anything they feel will bring a greater sense of community with a focus on health, wellbeing, inclusion, employment, volunteering or learning.

What's the process?

Applications must be submitted at least six weeks before the funding is needed, and evidence of the activity, including receipts, photos and a completed testimonial form should be returned within one month of the activity/purchase.

All application forms are sent to the Community Benefit Panel, which includes eight members of CCHA staff, and five tenants. The panel meets every three months and the applicant is informed of the decision after the meeting.

If you would like to be a part of the Community Benefit Panel, please get in touch with Sam Evans via socialvalue@ccha.org.uk
