We have all witnessed the shocking violence fuelled by hate, racism and islamophobia reported in the news over the past few days. At CCHA, we have zero tolerance for hate and stand in solidarity with our Black, Asian and Ethnically diverse communities. Everyone has the right to feel safe, and we will do all that we can to ensure that our tenants feel safe in their homes and our colleagues feel safe to be at work.
It’s important that any hate crime or concerns are reported to South Wales Police or through Victim Support. We will work with them, and other partner organisations to act on any incidents related to our tenancies that arise from these events. As a tenant, you can also speak with your neighbourhood manager if you have any concerns.
Hate has no place in our communities, and together we will stand strong. In this worrying time please be kind and let’s all look out for each other.
