Last Thursday saw the official launch of the Working Wardrobe project. It wasn’t just our Jonny and Liz that stepped out in their glad rags…
The Working Wardrobe project provides interview clothing to people looking for work in South Wales. The intention is to offer people confidence and self-belief because when you’re dressed for success, you feel like you can take on the world!
With host Jason Mohammad at the helm, the evening was spent in good company. The Tramshed boasted a full house packed with partners, friends, and avid supporters of the Working Wardrobe project. The main event saw a catwalk to demonstrate the plethora of interview clothing generously donated.
It wasn’t just your average suit and trousers, either. The fashion hungry were satisfied with cropped sweater vests layered over crisp shirts, 50s inspired trousers complimented by military-style blazers, and smart suits contrasted with fresh trainers. However, this was more than a style statement; it revealed how interview clothing can set you apart and show off your best asset — you.
All in all, a successful launch with all the energy needed to take on 2022. We can’t wait to see what the year holds for everyone involved. Who knows, a future CEO might be walking through the doors of the Working Wardrobe project as we speak; watch this space!
