From April 2023 we will be making some changes to the teams and organisations we use for our out of hours services.
Out of hours calls
Telecare at Cardiff Council have handled our out of hours calls for many years. However, with the contract coming to an end, we have had to look for another provider. Over the next two weeks, the out of hours calls will begin to be handed over to our new provider, Delta Wellbeing before they become fully operational on 27th April 2023.
Delta Wellbeing supports more than 35,000 clients and provides out of hours services for local authorities, a wide range of housing associations and commercial organisations. We have been working with Delta since December 2022 to make sure that the change of provider is seamless for tenants. You can find out more about Delta here
Please note that the number you need to call to report a repair outside of office hours has not changed. You will still need to call 029 2046 8490.
Emergency Repairs
We are also pleased to let you know that any general repairs needed during the out of hours service will now be carried out by our M Team. This investment into the M Team means that tenants will see the same familiar faces that they do when they need a repair outside of our office hours, as they do in the day.
Electrical emergencies will still be dealt with by our contractor, R&M.
Gas Safety emergencies will still be dealt with by our contractor, Westward.
