In August 2022, we were notified by our contractor, Dazzle Cleaning Services that they were closing the business and would no longer provide services after January 2023. The team at Dazzle have carried out services such as communal cleaning, window cleaning, fire alarm testing and have provided concierge services, for five years on behalf of CCHA.
After considering all the options available to us, in September 2022 we began discussions to transfer all Dazzle employees over to CCHA, in order to internalise and directly deliver these services. We already did this with our M Team in 2020 and Spaces and Places Grounds Maintenance Team in August 2022, following feedback from our tenants on how to improve the services we provide.
Following consultation with the Dazzle Team, 18 employees will be transferring to CCHA on 30th January 2023 and will join our Spaces and Places team. We are currently recruiting for a Spaces and Places Supervisor who will oversee the day-to-day supervision of the team and a Spaces and Places Co-ordinator who will provide the team’s administrative support.
What does this mean for tenants?
Nothing really! You’ll still see the same familiar faces, but they’ll be wearing a CCHA uniform and driving CCHA vans. All services will continue as normal while we work with the new team to settle in.
