In August, we were excited to be nominated by ASCP Safety and Compliance for the Best Overall Organisation Response to Covid 19.
The last 18 months have been difficult for all of us. As a business, we really had to consider what was best for staff and tenants moving forward under coronavirus restrictions. Following extensive planning, we managed to introduce a safe office to our staff when government restrictions allowed. It followed social distancing procedures, one way systems, strict cleaning policies, and other elements that kept everyone 100% safe.
On Thursday 23rd September, we had an even bigger reason to celebrate; we won!
Although the circumstances of this win are bittersweet, we recognise that everyone (including our wonderful tenants!) have supported us in this. We really could not have done it without you. It really is a wonderful reflection of our core value … #TogetherWeDo
Jonathan Jones, our Corporate Director of Assets and Property, stated:
“This award is a result of a huge team effort from everyone in CCHA. We’ve worked hard to help make sure our tenants, staff, our contractors, our partners, and other customers have been kept safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
As fantastic as it is to receive an award, we really hope that this one is a once in a lifetime award and nobody receives it again.
We know we have much more work to do across CCHA to improve the services that tenants receive. However, we are proud that we have done everything that we can do to keep people safe in their homes and their communities throughout the pandemic.
Big congratulations to everybody who was nominated for this award – Believe Housing, City Building Glasgow, Wolverhampton Homes, and Worcester Bosch.”
