A selfie of Hayley Selway smilingI want to thank you for your patience and understanding during what has been a very difficult year for us all. We are continuing to monitor the advice of Welsh Government with regards to the coronavirus to keep you, our staff and our contractors safe.

Your safety remains our highest priority. We want to let you know that we will continue to deliver our services in line with Welsh Government guidance. To keep you and our staff safe, our repairs team and our housing team who visit your home will be following the new, 2 metre social distancing rules which will come into effect from 27th December 2021. To get an idea of what to expect when we visit your home, please see our short information film

When reporting repairs, please let us know if anyone in your home is self-isolating, or has any symptoms associated with Coronavirus (for example — a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss of taste or smell.) This will help us to complete your repairs safely.

CCHA will close at 2pm on Friday 24rd December, and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4th January.

I’d like to reassure you that we are here for you during this time:

  • If you need an emergency repair, please contact our out-of-hours service on 0300 123 1091.
  • For non-urgent repairs, please email repairs@ccha.org.uk. Please note that we won’t be able to respond to these emails until we return on Tuesday 4th January.
  • For non-urgent housing issues, please email info@ccha.org.uk. Please note that we won’t be able to respond to these emails until we return on Tuesday 4th January.
  • You can still pay your rent during this time using the 24 telephone payment line available on 029 2046 8490. We can also arrange to have any information translated.

In the meantime, I like to wish you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.

Stay safe, and we look forward to working with you in 2022.

Hayley Selway, Chief Executive Officer
